Samvidhan Samman Sammelan In Kolhapur

The first Samvidhan Samman Sammelan, focused on safeguarding and honouring the Constitution, took place in the last week of August in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as the speaker.

According to The Times of India (TOI), Gandhi is scheduled to address another Samvidhan Samman Sammelan in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, on October 5. Congress national secretary Subhashini Yadav, daughter of the late socialist leader Sharad Yadav, confirmed this.

Yadav stated, "The event has been organised by social organisations and not by any political parties. Gandhi will address those who work in various organisations and always uphold constitutional values above everything else."

Gandhi will arrive in Kolhapur in the afternoon, visit the memorial of Rajarshi Shahu Chhatrapati, and then attend the event. Later, he will participate in the unveiling of a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Kasba Bawda's Bhagwa Chowk.
