A fire broke out at Terminal 1 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on Thursday evening, with firefighting operations swiftly launched, officials said.

The blaze was reported at around 6.35 pm at a three-storey structure near 1-B Circle. Multiple units of the Mumbai Fire Brigade were rushed to the scene to contain the flames.
Authorities confirmed that the fire was confined to the ground floor and no casualties have been reported so far. Further details are awaited as emergency teams continue to assess the situation.
