Delhi Weather Today: Due to a western disturbance in play in the Himalayan region, the weather in Delhi-NCR is gradually becoming hotter by the day. Temperatures are expected to increase further this week.
The impact of daytime heat is already being felt. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the daytime temperature is likely to reach 36 to 37 degrees Celsius over the next few days.
The minimum temperature in Delhi during the last 24 hours was recorded at 16.5 degrees Celsius, which was normal. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.8 degrees Celsius, which was 1.5 degrees above normal.
'No Rain Expected'
On Saturday, the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be about 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature would hover around 16 degrees Celsius. The weather in Delhi will remain clear during this period. An increase in both minimum and maximum temperatures is expected over the next week. No rain is likely to bring relief from the heat in Delhi as of now.
According to the IMD, the winds will remain calm until March 27. Due to this, the maximum temperature is forecast to remain between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature may remain between 16 and 19 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of strong winds on March 27.
Delhi AQI 148
According to the Early Warning System, Delhi, the AQI at 5.30 PM on Saturday was recorded at 148. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.
