WATCH: CISF Personnel Saves Passenger's Life With Quick CPR At Delhi's IGI Airport

A CISF personnel acted swiftly and performed a CPR on a passenger who had collapsed at Delhi Airport after suffering a cardiac arrest. Scroll to see the viral video.

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel's timely intervention saved the life of a passenger who had suddenly collapsed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The quick response team member saved the life of a passenger, Arshid Ayoub, who collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest, while on his way to board a flight to Srinagar on August 20. 

The CISF personnel is winning hearts on social media for acting swiftly to save the passenger's life. 

In the viral video shared by news agency ANI, the passenger can be seen standing with his luggage when he suddenly collapses to the ground.

As people rushed to see what had happened, the CISF personnel who was standing nearby noticed the passenger on the floor. Acting promtly, he performed CPR on him, which helped stablise his condition.

Thereafter, a Medanta doctor arrived at the scene and transported the passenger to the Medanta medical room after assessing his condition. Later, he was referred for further treatement to Safdarjung Hospital, ANI reported.

“A quick CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to a passenger Arshid Ayoub by the Central Industrial Security Force’s quick reaction team played a crucial role in establishing his condition. Ayoub, bound for Srinagar flight from Terminal 2 of the IGI Airport on Tuesday morning (Aug 20) collapsed due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted at Safdarjung hospital in Delhi, and is stated to be stable: CISF,” ANI wrote on X.

As the video surfaced on the internet, social media users lauded the CISF personnel for saving the passenger's life.

Reacting to the video, a user commented on X, "Good job!! Much appreciated."

Another user wrote: "Good work. CPR should be taught in educational institutions and all young people who are working in office, factory or any department. Compulsory to govt employee."

"Hats off to CISF Team.. really great ..they  have saved one life, who is  son of some parents who waits at home to see him. Now a days these cases are happening every where , such CPR training to be give to all," another user commented.

In another similar incident in July, a female doctor saved the life of an elderly man by performing CPR on him at the Delhi Airport. He, too, had collapsed after suffering a heart attack. But the doctor who was also waiting to board her flight at Terminal 2 spotted him and came to his rescue.
