Relief To EPFO Members! Deadline To Link UAN With Aadhaar Card Extended

If you do not link your EPF account to Aadhaar by December 31, the contribution from the company can be stopped.

EPFO UAN Aadhar Link: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation has given a big relief to EPF members. The deadline for linking the EPA account to the Aadhaar card has been extended. Subscribers can now link their UAN to Aadhaar by December 31. Earlier, its last date was August 31. EPFO tweeted this information.

It is mandatory for EPFO members to link their EPF account with Aadhaar. EPFO decided to link Aadhaar under social security code 2020. As per the decision, it is mandatory that the UAN of all members should be Aadhaar verified. Therefore it is necessary for you to link your EPF account with Aadhaar and verify UAN with Aadhaar

If you do not link your EPF account to Aadhaar by December 31, the contribution from the company can be stopped. You may also have difficulty withdrawing money deposited in the EPF account. You can link to Aadhaar by visiting EPFO's official website. With this, you will not face any problems related to the EPF account in the future.

Link EPF account to Aadhaar  

  • Step 1: Login to the official website epfindia.gov.in
  • Step 2: Click on 'Online Services' and go to 'e-KYC Portal'. Click on the Link UAN Aadhaar option here.
  • Enter your UAN number and registered mobile number in it.
  • OTP will appear on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP and your Aadhaar number.  
  • You can then click the submit button and verify it by clicking on OTP verification.
  • Your company will then be contacted by EPFO for authentication of Aadhaar-EPF account linking. After getting the verification from your company to link Aadhaar with the EPF account, the account will be linked with Aadhaar.
