IndiGo Airline experienced a sudden system outage on Saturday. The glitch occurred around afternoon and impacted multiple flights across airports in the country. The outage disrupted flight operations and ground services as well at airports nationwide.


Announcing the details about the same, the airline issued a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter and said, "We are currently experiencing a temporary system slowdown across our network, affecting our website and booking system."






As a result of the glitch, multiple passengers were left stranded at airports unable to board flights or even book their tickets. This resulted in major delays and inconvenience for the passengers across the country.

Several passengers also expressed their frustration with the whole experience on X and called on the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to intervene in the matter.






Sharing further details about the delay, the airline in another post apologised for the inconvenience. "Our airport team is available and fully dedicated to assisting everyone and ensuring a smooth journey. Be assured, we are working diligently to restore stability and normalcy as quickly as possible," IndiGo said.
