On Monday, there was a slight increase of Rs 10 per 10 grams in the price of gold in India. The price of 22-carat gold increased by Rs 10 to Rs 46,310 from a day earlier. On the other hand, on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold August futures were trading 0.05% higher at Rs 47,311 at 10:40 am, as against the previous day's closing price of Rs 47,285. The September futures price of silver rose 0.43% to Rs 70,490 per kg, while the previous closing price was Rs 70,188.


Gold prices in India rose slightly today following cues in the overseas market amid strong US job data and a weak dollar. It is worth noting that gold rates vary from state to state and city to city due to different taxes.


Gold price in different states including Delhi


In Delhi, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 46,360 per 10 grams, and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 50,460 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 46,310 per 10 grams, and 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 47,310 10 grams.


On the other hand, in Kolkata, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 46910 per 10 grams, and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 49610 per 10 grams. In Bangalore, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 44,310 per 10 grams, and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 48,340 per 10 grams. In Chennai, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 44860 per 10 grams, and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 48940 per 10 grams.


In Kerala, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 44,310 per 10 grams, and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 48,340 per 10 grams.


In Pune, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 46,310 per 10 grams, and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 47,310 per 10 grams.


In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 46,460 per 10 grams, and 24-carat gold is Rs 50,460 per 10 grams.


Meanwhile, a fall in the prices of gold was recorded in the international market. Spot gold fell 0.1 percent to USD 1,785.41 an ounce and US gold futures rose 0.1 per cent to USD 1,785.20 an ounce.
