Ather has launched a new electric scooter, Rizta which is a more family-oriented offering from the sportier 450. The Rizta is priced at 1.10 lakh while the top-end version is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh. This is a practical scooter with a focus on space and comfort. Hence, it has a longer seat for more space and comfort.

The electric scooter also has a combined 56 litres of storage capacity too. This includes a frunk and generous under-seat storage. It is also the first Indian electric scooter to get traction control while having quite a few features like the 450. The design is striking with some of the same detailing as the 450.

The company also says that it has been tuned for a more pliant suspension and makes it easier to ride. If compared to the 450x, the Rizta is just 7kgs more and it remains one of the lightest electric scooters in its class. With the two variants, there are two battery packs of different sizes. There is one with a 2.9kWh battery pack plus a larger 3.7kWh battery pack.
