Mahindra has revealed the name for its XUV300 facelift and it is called the XUV 3XO (pronounced as XUV-three-ex-oh). This is the updated version of the XUV300 and here, Mahindra has given it a lot of updates most notably in the looks and the features department.
The XUV 3XO looks different too and will get a new front end with a sharper look while the grille is also new. There are also new LED DRLs while the bumper is all new as well. Thus, it will get a new look which would be in sync with the revised Mahindra SUV design language.
The first look also shows the new rear styling of the XUV 3XO where there is a full width light bar at the rear and a new tailgate. The new XUV 3XO would be below 4m unlike the XUV400. Of course, it will get a new set of alloy wheels as well with a dark grey finish.
The interiors would be new too including a new digital instrument cluster and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen. New connected car tech features would be added but would be a new segment. The first feature would be the possible inclusion of a panoramic sunroof too. This would be the first time where a sub4m SUV gets a panoramic sunroof.
When it comes to the powertrains on offer, the current line-up would be carried forward but the 1.2l turbo petrol will get a 6-speed torque converter automatic while a manual will also be on offer along with an AMT as well on the other powertrain options. This new Mahindra SUV will go up against a long list of rivals like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and the Kia Sonet plus others.
