Vietnamese EV maker Vinfast could launch its first product for India in 2026 with the VF e34 being its entry ticket to the compact EV space. Vinfast has a lot of models but the one that could be chosen for our market is the VF e34 and it would be a rival to Curvv EV and Creta EV.

Its dimensions include a length of 4300mm and that puts it squarely at the 4m plus SUV space. Styling wise it is more like a crossover but with some interesting details.

It has a streamlined design with a futuristic front-end too while there are large 18inch wheels.

There is a split LED light design element and has an almost MPV ish like stance. Inside, the VF e34 will have a large 10inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7inch digital cluster

The SUV will have a ventilated fabric seats plus a 360 degree camera and 6 airbags.

Rather curiously there is no sunroof but all that could change for the Indian market. The luggage capacity is 290 litres while the wheelbase is 2611mm.

This could be the entry level Vinfast for India and it will have a ground clearance of 180mm. The range is claimed to be 300km plus with a 42kWh battery pack and it has a 0-100 km/h time of 9 seconds.

Other features include ADAS, remote software updates, voice control support, battery charging status monitoring etc.

The e34 would be aimed at the Curvv EV and Creta EV plus the eVX from Maruti when it comes post the new plant churning out cars in 2026.
