The new generation Land Cruiser has made its debut in other global markets and its India launch could take place soon with bookings having been started with dealers asking for Rs 10 lakh as the booking amount. The Land Cruiser globally has been affected by the chip shortage along with huge demand which had pushed back the India launch by quite some time.

The new generation Land Cruiser gets a redesigned exterior plus interior with a new look front-end along with rear styling while the interior is much more modern thanks to a 12.3-inch touchscreen along with a premium JBL audio system, heated/ventilated seats, sunroof, and connected car tech plus more. The interior comfort has been increased with the new generation model along with more luggage capacity too.

The new LC300 Land Cruiser will get a 3.3-litre V6 diesel with no petrol while a 10-speed automatic is standard. India would be getting the 5-seater version while global markets also have a 7-seater model. The SUV also gets a proper four-wheel drive system for off-roading while getting technology features like the multi-terrain camera feature for off-roading with four cameras monitoring the ground. We expect prices to touch Rs 2 cr for the India spec LC300. In India, the Land Cruiser would rival the Range Rover Sport from Land Rover.
