The new Toyota Camry as a result is more fuel efficient than before and the mileage figure is much more than other sedans priced way lower along with even beating some small hatchbacks with its efficiency! The claimed 25.49 kmpl is indeed a big draw for this Toyota. The big reason for this is the hybrid battery pack which means you can drive in electric mode too depending on the battery charge. The car as a standard gets an eCVT automatic gearbox too.
Toyota Camry Facelift: New Exterior Styling And Interior Features
The Camry is a big luxury sedan and the bigger changes can be seen with the exteriors, particularly the new face. The design is now more influenced by Lexus cars, especially with the new two-part grille. The placement of the Toyota badge is now different while the grille now connects with the slim headlamps. The styling changes are at the rear too with new tail-lamps with the same look as well as a new bumper design. Inside, the new Camry hybrid gets an entirely redesigned dashboard which we think was needed since the current one became outdated. There is a bigger touchscreen and a new digital instrument cluster as well as features like HUD, 9-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, reclinable rear seats, three-zone climate control plus a rear sunshade. Additional features include a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and more.
The quality and the design have improved while the rear seats continue to offer tons of space with more luxuries than similarly priced luxury sedans. Hence, while prices have increased, the new Camry hybrid looks better and is more of a proper luxury sedan now with more flash value which people in this segment want. However, the segment that it operates in is also dominated by German luxury sedans, which means it remains to be seen how well the new Camry pulls luxury car buyers.
