New Delhi: The Delhi government has set up the first private electric vehicle charging point under its single window facility. Now you can install electric vehicle charging points in your home with a subsidy of Rs. 6000. This charging point has been installed in the house of a person living in South Delhi. The single-window facility, which was launched in November 2021, with an aim to expand charging infrastructure to private and semi-public spaces such as apartments, group housing societies, hospitals, malls, and theatres across cities.


The government is also giving subsidies for it. For the first 30,000 charging points in the city, the government is giving a subsidy of Rs. 6000. According to the subscription model, EV chargers can be purchased through a single-window portal. After a few days, you can also transfer the charger.

Charging point will be installed in 7 days: This facility will be available to you in 7 days. The Delhi government will provide this facility to people applying through a single-window facility in 7 days. Customers can also fix the charger installation time as per their convenience. According to the Delhi government, the aim is to develop a private charging infrastructure. Through this, people will adapt to electric vehicles faster.


12 vendors included in the panel:
