With SUVs enjoying immense popularity, Hyundai is gearing up to shift its focus towards SUVs in 2024, with various launches planned in the compact and premium SUV segments spanning across various price brackets. Hyundai already boasts popular SUVs like the Creta and Venue, along with the recently introduced Exter. Next year, the company is poised to introduce the Creta facelift and the new Tucson, while there are also potential plans to unveil the Creta-based EV.

The automotive manufacturer will kickstart the year with the launch of the new Creta facelift, featuring a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, a refreshed appearance, and additional features. Following this, the Tucson facelift will be introduced, characterized by milder aesthetic enhancements to both the exterior and interior, with no changes in the mechanical aspects. Hyundai will also debut the new Alcazar, a three-row version based on the new Creta.
A significant launch on the horizon is the Creta EV, positioned as a compact SUV EV offering and positioned below the Ioniq 5 as Hyundai's most affordable EV. The Creta EV, based on the new Creta, may feature differentiated styling to emphasize its EV characteristics. It is speculated to be equipped with a 50kWh battery pack, providing a range exceeding 450km and potentially reaching around 500km—a standard within the segment.

Given the evident preference for SUVs among buyers, Hyundai aims to revamp its lineup and introduce more products in this space to meet the growing demand.
