BAD NEWS! Auto Expo 2022 Postponed Due To Covid-19 Pandemic

The auto expo has been postponed due to COVID-19. The Auto Expo was scheduled to be held in Greater Noida from February 2 to 9 next year.

Greater Noida: COVID-19 has had a massive impact on all industries globally. This also includes the auto industry, which has been left crippled due to this pandemic. In view of the possible third wave of the pandemic, the decision of cancelling Auto Expo 2022 has been made by its organizers.

Auto Expo, which is held once every two years in Greater Noida, has been postponed. This has come as a disappointing news for auto enthusiasts who were looking forward for it in 2022. The decision has been taken keeping in mind that people from all over the world would gather at the Auto Expo, a scenario where social distancing regulations would be almost impossible to follow.

Rajesh Menon, Director of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) shared that the Indian Auto Expo 2022 has been postponed. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the current situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing lockdowns

According to SIAM, such events are highly attended, which increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Therefore, in view of this epidemic, Auto Expo has been cancelled for the time being. SIAM also indicated that a new date could be considered later this year if the third wave of the pandemic doesn't have a high impact.
