Along with other festivals, Shayani Ekadashi Purnima, Sankashti Chaturthi And Ratha Yatra also fall on this month. June 2023 begins with Guru Pradosh Vrat on June 1. It then follows other important fasts and festivals like Jyeshtha Purnima, Sankashti Chaturthi, Masik Kalashtami, Yogini Ekadashi, Mithun Sankranti, Masik Shivratri, Ashadha Amavasya, Jagannath Rath Yatra, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Skanda Shashti etc.

Devshayani Ekadashi:

This year Devshayani Ekadashi will begin at 3:18 AM on June 29 and will last till 2:42 AM on June 30. According to Drik Panchang, on Ashadha Shukla Paksha Ekadashi also known as Devshayani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu goes to sleep and wakes up after four months on Prabodhini Ekadashi.

Devshayani Ekadashi comes just after the famous Jagannath Rathyatra and currently falls in the month of June or July on the English calendar. Chaturmas, a holy period of four months in the Hindu calendar, starts from this day.

Ratha Yatra:

Ratha Yatra is a huge Hindu festival and it is organized each year at the famous Jagannatha temple in Puri, Odisha, India. According to Drik Panchang, this day is decided based on the Hindu Lunar calendar and it is fixed on Dwitiya Tithi during Shukla Paksha of Ashada month. Lord Jagannatha is primarily worshipped on this day, at the well-known Jagannatha temple in the city of Puri.
