During the nine-day celebrations, people pray to the nine avatars of Goddess Shakti, and on the last day, observe Ram Navami - celebrating Lord Rama's birth.

According to traditional beliefs, the conveyance of Goddess Durga holds significance, indicating auspicious or inauspicious outcomes. This year, during Chaitra Navratri, the goddess arrives on a horse, which is not considered an auspicious vehicle. This symbolism suggests forthcoming battles and natural disasters, signifying a shift in power.

According to Hindu Panchang, the auspicious time for Kalash sthapana falls between 11:57 AM and 12:48 PM on April 9, lasting 51 minutes.

Day 1: April 9, 2024 (Pratipada Tithi, Ghatasthapana): Worship of Maa Shailputri.

Day 2: April 10, 2024 (Dwitiya Tithi): Worship of Maa Brahmacharini.

Day 3: April 11, 2024 (Tritiya Tithi): Worship of Maa Chandraghanta.

Day 4: April 12, 2024 (Chaturthi Tithi): Worship of Maa Kushmanda.
