From first day of Chaitra Navratri, till Shri Ramnavami, the vastra of Bhagwan Shri Ramlalla Sarkar are going to be special.
As per Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, "Bhagwan will wear vastra made of special hand woven & hand spun khadi cotton, decorated with real gold khaddi hand block print. The block prints used in printing are all inspired by Vaishnav Chinha."

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee took to X to wish the audience on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri.

Devotees offer prayers at Karni Mata temple in Bikaner on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. There is a custom of offering food to rats in the Karni Mata temple of Bikaner.

Chaitra Navratri began from April 9 and will continue till April 17, with each day dedicated to worship of Maa Durga. Let's have a look at Day 1 celebrations around the country.
- Wrap the sacred thread around the coconut.
- Wrap the coconut in a red cloth and place it on top of the Kalash.
- Light a lamp after establishing the pot.
- Perform the worship of the Kalash.
- Offer incense sticks to the Kalash, garland and fruits, and sweets to the Kalash.
To perform Kalash Sthapana, gather 7 types of grains such as a clay pot, sacred soil, a Kalash, holy water from the Ganges, mango or Ashoka leaves, betel nut, a coconut with its husk, rice grains, red cloth, and flowers.
To establish the pot, first take a vessel for sowing barley. Now spread a layer of soil in this vessel, then spread a layer of barley.
Now fill a Kalash with water tie a sacred thread (kalava) around its neck and place it on the vessel containing the soil. Place Ashoka or mango leaves on top of this Kalash.
In the year 2024, several auspicious yogas are forming during Chaitra Navratri, with the conjunction of Amrit Siddhi Yoga, Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga, Shash Yoga, and Ashwini Nakshatra occurring. It is believed that after 30 years, these yogas are forming during Chaitra Navratri.
Aries (Mesha Rashi) - It will be auspicious for Aries natives during Navratri. There will be an increase in income, and financially, your days will be good.

On the first day of Chaitra Navratri, devotees offered prayers at the Badi Devkali Mata Temple in Ayodhya.
The ghatasthapana muhurat of Chaitra Navratri 2024 is over. If you have not been able to do it yet, you can do it during the favourable Abhijeet Muhurat.

Goddess Shailputri favors white items. On this day, in the bhog, white sweets and ghee are offered to the goddess. It is believed that Goddess Durga is very fond of items made from cow's ghee. You can also offer the bhog to Goddess Shailputri with almond halwa made from cow's ghee. Additionally, you can offer rock sugar or sugar candy as bhog to the goddess.
After 30 years, rare yogas like Amrit Siddhi Yoga, Shash Yoga, Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga, and the conjunction of Ashwini Nakshatra will occur during Chaitra Navratri. The Hindu New Year also begins with Chaitra Navratri. As a result, individuals born under the signs of Aries, Pisces, and Cancer will receive the blessings of Mother Durga throughout the year.
After establishing the Kalash, show incense, lamp, akshat, white flowers, sindoor, and fruits to Goddess Shailputri. Recite the mantra of the goddess and read the story. Offer milk and ghee-made items in the bhog. After the puja, perform the aarti of the goddess. Fold your hands and ask for forgiveness for any unintentional mistakes, and pray to Mata Rani to always bless and protect us.
Chaitra Navratri, a nine-day festival celebrated from the first day of the bright fortnight of the month of Chaitra until the ninth day, is a time for fasting and worship. This year, the fasting and worship of Navratri will occur from April 9th to April 17th. The auspicious period for Kalash establishment will last for approximately four hours in the morning, starting from the night of April 8th at 11:50 PM.
Religious Beliefs Of Navratri:
