According to the report, Gemini leads the pack, with 9.9% of the richest individuals on the list belonging to this star sign. 

Gemini takes the lead  

With notable personalities such as Kumar Mangalam Birla and the LN Mittal family representing the Gemini sign, it’s no surprise that this zodiac sign has the highest representation among India’s wealthiest. Their combined influence underscores the strong presence of Gemini in India's elite financial circles. 

Scorpio and Aries follow

Scorpios come in second, contributing 9.0% to the rich list. Business moguls like Sunil Mittal and Yusuff Ali exemplify the Scorpio traits of determination and resourcefulness, making significant marks in the business world.

Pisces shares the spotlight with Aries  

Aries, sharing the third spot with Pisces, contributes 8.9% to the list, with powerhouses like Mukesh Ambani and the Godrej family adding to the sign's reputation for leadership and innovation. 

Pisces, matching Aries with an 8.9% contribution, is represented by influential figures such as Radhakishan Damani and the Patel family. Their achievements reflect the Piscean strengths of intuition and creativity, making them standout contributors to the rich list. 

Virgo and Cancer hold strong  

Virgo, contributing 8.6%, is represented by the likes of Anil Agarwal and Shapoor Mistry. These individuals are known for their meticulousness and strategic thinking, key traits that have helped them amass significant wealth. Meanwhile, Cancer, accounting for 8.5% of the list, is symbolised by stalwarts like Gautam Adani and Shiv Nadar, whose emotional intelligence and resilience have driven their success. 

Capricorn and Leo tie for seventh place  

Both Capricorn and Leo contribute 8.4% to the list. Capricorn’s disciplined and ambitious nature is reflected in individuals like Karsanbhai Patel and Radha Vembu, while the dynamic and charismatic Leo is represented by figures such as Azim Premji and Sri Prakash Lohia. 

Taurus, Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Libra round out the list 

Taurus, with 7.6% representation, includes names like Cyrus S. Poonawalla and Anand Mahindra, showcasing the sign's persistence and reliability. Sagittarius follows closely with 7.5%, featuring influential families like the Hinduja family and Sajjan Jindal. Topping the 2024 Hurun India Rich List is Gautam Adani and family, with a staggering 95 percent increase in wealth, reaching Rs 1,161,800 crore. Mukesh Ambani follows in second place, with a wealth of Rs 1,014,700 crore. 

The 2024 Hurun India Rich List, now in its 13th edition, offers a comprehensive overview of the wealthiest Indians worldwide as of July 31, 2024. This year, the list features 1,539 individuals, reflecting a notable increase of 220 from the previous year, spread across 134 cities, each with a net worth exceeding Rs 1,000 crore. Remarkably, the number of billionaires in India has surged to 334, an increase of 75 compared to the previous year.
