TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu Confident Of Party Regaining Power In Telangana

Naidu claimed that he always approached his work with the goal of improving the lives of the people of the two Telugu states.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo N Chandrababu Naidu On Wednesday invited all those who had left the party in the previous eight years to return and expressed confidence that the party would regain its past glory in Telangana.

Speaking at a massive public meeting at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Khammam, Naidu said the huge turnout indicates that the party will regain its past glory in the state. 

The former Chief Minister said, "Only the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has the right to seek votes in Telangana and not other political parties, because TDP has brought significant development to the state."
 
Naidu said that he never wanted power and instead sought to be closer to the people in order to gain their affection.He recalled that the TDP had implemented a number of welfare schemes for various segments of society.

Naidu claimed that he always approached his work with the goal of improving the lives of the people of the two Telugu states.The TDP leader explained how his hard work is now yielding results by listing the developmental projects he initiated in Hyderabad and other parts of both Telugu states.

Naidu stated that the TDP encouraged people from the Backward Classes (BCs) to enter politics and that the party's founder, N.T. Rama Rao, was responsible for several people joining politics who are now the most famous leaders in both Telugu states.

 He claimed that the Hitech City, Cyberabad, and the Genome Valley in Hyderabad were all established with his vision and recalled how he managed to meet the Microsoft founder, which gave birth to the Hitech City.

Despite the fact that the party has no officials in Khammam, Naidu said he is quite pleased to see the sizable crowd for his meeting.
He also said that the large crowd for the meeting is a fitting reply to those who claim that the TDP no longer exists in Telangana.
