The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy celebrated four years in office by conducting rallies and meetings across the state on Tuesday.

According to an IANS report, YSRCP General Secretary and Advisor to the Government (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy cut the cake and unfurled the party flag at the party's central office in Amaravati.

Addressing the party cadre, Sajjala said the opposition has become envious of the popularity of the government as CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is implementing various welfare schemes as per the election manifesto while giving equal importance to the development of the state.

He alleged that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Chandrababu Naidu cheated all sections of society during his rule by failing to implement the election manifesto. Sajjala said that Naidu is now trying to fool the people again by telling lies and copying the 'Amma Vodi scheme' of the YSRCP government and renaming it "Ammaku Vandanam'. He appealed to the people not to be carried away by Naidu's false promises.

Sajjala alleged that Chandrababu Naidu and his party men looted public money in the name of Anna canteens and took kickbacks even in the construction of public toilets, besides cheating the women's self-help groups.

All YSRCP leaders and workers are family members of the Chief Minister, and they should be cautious of the gimmicks of Chandrababu Naidu, who wants to come to power through alliances and false assurances, Sajjala said.
