Hyderabad: Former Indian cricket skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni celebrates his 41st birthday on Thursday and his fans from across the country celebrate with pomp. But his fans from Andhra Pradesh's NTR district drew attention by erecting a 41-foot tall cutout of the stalwart player.

The fans also planned a birthday bash celebrating the birthday of one of the most successful cricket captains of India by cutting a cake weighing 41 kgs.

Dhoni's fanbase in south India is huge, it's no surprise that this is not the first time fans have erected cutout for their cricketing hero. In 2018 his Kerala fans association has erected 35 feet cutout while his Tamil Nadu fans put up a 30 feet high cutout on his birthday that year.

India's wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant attends MS Dhoni's 41st birthday celebrations while several players and politicians take to their Twitter handles to wish 'Captain cool' Dhoni.

MS Dhoni is an inspiration for an era. The 41-year-old Chennai Super Kings' wicketkeeper-batter is the only captain to have won three ICC trophies and to have 10,000 plus runs in the ODI format. To become number 1 ODI ranked player he just took 38 innings.
