New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday unveiled the logo of the Global Investors Summit 2023 planned by the state government in Visakhapatnam in March.


Minister for IT and Industry Gudivada Amarnath, Special CS  R. Karikal Valaven, AP Maritime Board CEO S. Shan Mohan, APMSME Chairman Vanka Ravindranath, APTPC Chairman K. Ravichandra Reddy, CII AP Chairman S. Neeraj, APIDC Chairperson B. Punya Seela, and other officials were among the ones present during the event.






Speaking to the media, Minister Gudivada Amarnath said Chief Minister YS Jagan has announced that the Global Investors Summit will be held in Visakhapatnam on March 3 and 4, next year and that the government will invite leading industrialists from all over the world to the summit. 


Notably, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Visakhapatnam on November 11, Minister Gudivada Amarnath held a review meeting with officials of the district on Monday.

PM Modi will be on a two-day visit to Visakhapatnam from November 11. During his visit, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for a slew of projects, including launch of construction works for the redevelopment of Visakhapatnam railway station, commission the modernisation and expansion projects of the Visakha Refinery, the green campus at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Visakhapatnam, and cruise terminal works.


The PM will also lay the foundation stone for several sanctioned projects in Visakhapatnam, including the new office complex of the sanctioned South Coast Rail Zone, which has its headquarters in Visakhapatnam.


PM Modi will address a public meeting at the Andhra University’s Engineering College Ground in Visakhapatnam on November 12.
