Lahore [Pakistan], June 23 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women workers staged a protest outside the party chairman's secretariat in Lahore, over the allotment of tickets for reserved seats for women.

The agitating women on Friday accused the party's election cell member, Aliya Hamza of making changes in the allotment of tickets for the reserved seats.

The women workers while protesting also surrounded Hamza.

As per Geo News, the disheartened workers demanded that the decision of allotting the tickets be made on merit.

Earlier also, these women staged a protest outside both, the chairman secretariat in Lahore and PTI chief Imran Khan's Bani Gala residence in Islamabad, on the same issue.

These party workers belong to the NA-154 and NA-12 constituencies.

The workers have said that former PML-N leader Sikandar Bosan should not have been allotted a party ticket, accusing Imran of neglecting ideological workers at the time of allotting tickets.

Polling in Pakistan is scheduled to be conducted on July 25. (ANI)
