MQM leader Altaf Hussain calls for seperate Mojahir province

London [United Kingdom], May 1 (ANI): Pakistan's Muttahida Qaumi Movement founder Altaf Hussain called for a separate province for Mohajirs and threatened to further increase their demand if Pakistan doesn't reverse its bullying tactics.

Addressing the MQM affiliates under MQM Los Angeles chapter on Sunday, Hussain blamed Pakistan army of conspiring with the Supreme Court to attain their vested goals.

He further accused Pakistan's army of assassinating Pakistan founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Pakistan's first Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan who was also a mohajir.

While levying blame upon Pakistan politician Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to conspire against Mohajir, Altaf said "Bhutto introduced discriminatory Quota System to oppress mohajirs" who were more educated than Sindhis.

He further blamed Zulfikar's daughter Benazir Bhutto for carrying out carnage of hundreds of mohajirs at Pukka Qila in Pakistan's Hyderabad.

Further, a large number of Mohajirs were executed in fake encounters and are kept in custody, as told by Hussain.

He also highlighted the cold-blooded extrajudicial assassination of Pashtoon, Naqeebullah Mehsood.

He also accused former Pakistan's president Asif Ali Zardari of creating a terrorist organisation Peoples Amn Committee and further using that organisation against Mohajirs.

Further, those mohajirs who had raised their voices to demand basic rights have been extra-judicially executed in custody by Pakistan's army.

He further reiterated his demand for equal rights for oppressed communities in Pakistan including Mohajirs, Seraikis, Hazarwalls, Pashtoons and residents of Balochistan, Gilgit and Baltistan. (ANI)
