New York [U.S.A.], September 29 (ANI): The New York State Board of Elections has acknowledged, in a news report, published on Thursday, that U.S. President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner, registered to vote as a male despite being listed as a woman.

The Board of Elections executive director, Michael Ryan, said that the board made the error, not Kushner, the CNN reported The New York Daily News, as confirming.

Earlier, Kushner's publically accessible 2009 New York voter information, obtained through LexisNexis, listed his gender as female.

The Daily News said "the Board of Elections updated Kushner's gender from female to male in its system, AVID, the same day media reports highlighted the information."

Kushner has been under fire lately for occasionally using a private email account for correspondence with fellow administration officials. (ANI)
