Explosion at gas station in Ghana leaves six dead
Accra [Ghana], Oct 8 (ANI): At least six people were killed and several others injured in a powerful explosion at a gas station in Madina district in Ghana's capital Accra on Sunday.
Multiple fire trucks and several ambulances responded to the blast.
The explosion was reportedly caused by an open fire used to grill meat near the gas station.
The flames caused by the explosion also engulfed two filling stations in the area, local media reports said.
People were seen running to the safer place after the explosion happened.
More than 200 police were deployed to help cordon off the area following the blast. (ANI)
