Panaji (Goa) [India], October 27 (ANI): After a great first day, the COMO India Beach Fashion Week rocked the beach destination of Goa with its lineup of cutting edge fashion on day 2.

Ace Indian designers, including Vikram Phadnis, Anand Kabra, Pallavi Jaikishan and Rocky S, presented their collections on the second day of the event.

Talking about the event, Pallav Ojha, Chief Innovative Officer and Co- Founder exclusively told ANI, "We are proud with the Season 5 of India Beach Fashion Week. with our headlining designers and associated brands IBFW Season 5 is a razzmatazz of great runway shows, larger than life experience and of course some great beach vibes."

Sukriti and Akriti Grover enthralled the audience with their destination bridal wear collection. Pushing the envelope in their forte, which is Indian festive wear, the ethnic and stylish collection with the imaginatively put together ensembles stunned and is sure to be popular with the swish set. Showstopper Huma Qureshi added the WOW factor, looking resplendent in one of their ethereal creations.

Nazia Rahman represented Bangladesh, with her edgy, aggressive and bold designs. A ramp to rack collection, the effortless and fresh wearable pieces were refreshing. Inspired by Cleopatra, the collection befits the modern day queen, represented by showstopper Debasree Das Mall - Mrs. Asia International Goodwill 2015.

Contemporary and modern, Rocky S seduced with his modernistic, embellished approach. Unapologetically contemporary, the Rocky S Vida Collection kept all eyes glued to the ramp. Influences and traces of the baroque and gothic time periods with dramatic silhouettes and decorative prints for evening resort wear were a runway hit with the audience.

His designs did not fail to delight, whilst keeping the fabrics light, easy to pack, edgy and modern. Day or night, eclectic and breezy, each garment was a stunning creation. Esha Gupta added to the glamour with a superbly fitted ensemble.

Pallavi Jaikishen, the show-stopper of Day 2, rocked with her scintillating new cruise collection. Chic, crisp and reeking of pedigree, she proves once again that experience and old school rule. Her collection-Pristine- included semi-formal and breezy cuts, juxtaposed with embroidery that added splashes of colour and the correct amount of bling.

Modern silhouettes comprising cape dresses, pants teamed up with tops and dupattas are ideal for destination weddings. Colours were pearl with silver and ruby embroidery, blues, and earth red with modern and trendy, embellishments. Her signature sarees and lehengas were also showcased. (ANI)
