PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham Mandir in Anchora Kamboh in UP's Sambhal.

He took part in a 'pooja' and performed a stone laying ceremony at the temple's site.

The temple will be built by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust whose chairman is expelled Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam.

PM Modi met the spiritual leader Swami Avdheshanand Giri during ceremony in Sambhal.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Acharya Pramod Krishnan also attended the foundation ceremony.

PM Modi received a momento from UP CM Yogi Adityanath upon arriving in Sambhal for the ceremony.

PM Modi also addressed the crowd during the ceremony. The inauguration was attended by several saints, religious leaders and other dignitaries.

PM Modi will also launch 14,000 projects in UP worth Rs 10-lakh crore.

The projects will be launched at the fourth ground breaking ceremony for investment proposals received during UPGIS 2023.

The projects relate to sectors like education, housing, renewable energy, IT, and hospitals, among others.
