Trinamool Congress (TMC) government did not give permission to Yogi Adityanath to land his helicopter in West Bengal but the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister circumvented the obstacle by taking a road route to Purulia where he addressed a rally on Tuesday.
Adityanath, who seems to not take things lying down, travelled to West Bengal's Purulia district by road from Bokaro in BJP-ruled Jharkhand to address a party rally on Tuesday. "We must save the people of Bengal from this corrupt government, he said at the rally.
Tearing into the Mamata government, he said, "the chief minister is trying to save a man (Kolkata police chief) accused in the Saradha chit fund scam." He questioned why was Mamata sitting on a protest to protect a corrupt officer.
