Uttarakhand's former CM Harish Rawat stranded In Kedarnath after heavy rainfall

Former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat along with other Congress leaders were left stranded in Kedarnath today after heavy snowfall in the area.
The Met Department had issued an alert that several parts of North India could witness thunderstorm and squall in the next two days. In view of the alert, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat asked all the District Magistrates to remain alert. All schools in Dehradun and Haridwar would remain closed on Tuesday as would all Aanganwadi centres.
