A day after Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan sought apology in Lok Sabha for his sexist remarks against BJP MP, raids were held at his University in Rampur on Tuesday morning.
The raids at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University are being held by Uttar Pradesh police over allegations of stealing over 9000 books from Madrasa Alia. Of these stolen books, many were rare manuscripts.
As per the allegations levied on Khan, many of these manuscripts have been hidden in his University.
