UP CM Yogi Adityanath, 'Excess production and consumption of sugarcane leads to diabetes'

Uttar Pradesh's CM Yogi Adityanath at a road inauguration programme in Baghpat gave a controversial statement to sugercane farmers. He said, "You must start growing other crops besides sugarcane. Excess production of sugarcane leads to its more consumption, which, in turn causes diabetes."
