Top 50: Jammu & Kashmir governor dissolves assembly, fresh elections ahead

Hours after PDP-NC-Congress announced an alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, the political picture of state has turned upside down; with the governor Satyapal Malik dissolving the state assembly and announcing re-election in the state. The assembly was abruptly dissolved by the Governor Wednesday night hours after the PDP staked claim to form a government with the backing of rival National Conference and the Congress.
