The Ram Janmabhoomi dispute in Ayodhya was heard by the Supreme Court on Friday for the seventh day. During this time it was argued by Ramlala Virajaman that many figures of the deities have been found at the disputed site. No mosque has these pictures and figures.
Senior advocate CS Vaidyanathan argued on behalf of Ramlala Virajman from the five-member constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi. He read excerpts from the court appointed commissioner's report to inspect the disputed site. He said that the commissioner visited the disputed site on 16 April 1950 and described in the report the pillars bearing the figure of Lord Shiva.
