Super Seven: PM Modi bats for increased partnership towards Nepal's development

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that India is fully committed to increase its partnership in the development of Nepal.

"Keeping in mind the priorities of Nepal, India is fully committed to increase its partnership in the development of Nepal," Prime Minister Modi said in a joint statement with his Nepalese counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba.

"Had a positive meeting reviewing the gamut of our partnership," he said.

He also said that the two sides are working together in different dimensions of their economic partnership.

Speaking about floods in Nepal, Prime Minister Modi said that India has repeatedly proposed every possible assistance to Kathmandu in this natural calamity.

"I believe that our discussion of today and the agreements we have agreed upon, will run a new energy in our bilateral relations," he said.
