During the Monsoon season, all the systems that form in the Bay of Bengal are spaced in a way that each system takes about one week right from its inception to fizzling out. It takes two days to organize itself, and about four more days to travel inland.
The existing low-pressure area over Bihar and has remained over the region for the last few days now. In fact, it is now getting weaker and will fizzle out in the next two days.
Rains have reduced considerably over the state of Madhya Pradesh. This weather can be attributed to the shift of the axis of Monsoon trough further north. Also, the low pressure area has shifted eastward.
