Skymet Weather Report: Moderate rain to continue in Kerala, Shimla, Nainital, Mussoorie and Una

The hills of North India i.e. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand recorded moderate rainfall activity with isolated heavy showers. However, Jammu and Kashmir witnessed rains in light intensity over many parts.
In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Friday, Dehradun 27 mm, Bilaspur 13 mm, Dharamshala 8.6 mm, Mussoire 6 mm, Pithoragarh 6.2 mm and Kullu 3 mm.
At present, the Western Disturbance as an upper air system persists over extreme northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. The western arm of Monsoon trough is shifting towards the foothills. Therefore, we can say that rainfall activity is likely to enhance over many parts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
