Siyasat Ka Sensex: Congress ahead with 37.1% vote share in Chhattisgarh

47% people in Chhattisgarh votes for Raman Singh as their first choice for the CM candidate, 18% votes for Ajit Jogi and 12% voted for Congress's T. S. Singh Deo. Hence Raman Singh tops on the popularity chart in Chhattisgarh for upcoming 2019 Elections.
Chhattisgarh Assembly has total 91 seats, of which currently Bhartiya Janta Party has 49 seats, Indian National Congress has 39 seats, BSP has one seat and one is with an independent candidate.
The state is set to go to polls in two phases. Polling for the first phase of 18 seats in South Chhattisgarh will take place on November 12, whereas for the second phase for remaining 72 seats will take place in North Chhattisgarh on November 20th.
