SC sets aside the Patna High Court order on regularizing 3.5 lakh contract teachers in govt schools

Supreme Court sets aside the Patna High Court order that had ruled
that nearly 3.5 lakh contract teachers in government schools in Bihar are entitled to a salary on a par with the regular permanent teacher.
The 3.5 lakh contractual teachers had demanded equal pay for equal work, stating that they should also be given the same salary and benefits as the regular teachers as they were doing the same work and had the same educational qualification.
