After being suspended for a couple of days, Samjhauta Express train connecting India and Pakistan will resume its services from March 3. “The Samjhauta Express will leave for Pakistan from Delhi on Sunday after both Indian and Pakistan agreed to operationalise services at their ends,” a senior railway official told news agency PTI. The announcement came a day after Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was released by Pakistan. Officials informed that the first train will run from New Delhi to Attari on March 3. While Pakistan had cancelled its services right after an air strike by the Indian Air Force, India too cancelled the operations of the Samjhauta Express on February 28.
