Rwanda chants 'modi-modi' as PM Narendra Modi arrives during his three-nation Africa tour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a ceremonial reception upon his arrival in Rwanda on Monday.
The Prime Minister was received by President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame.
He is on a five-day, three-nation tour to Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa.
This is first ever visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Rwanda.
The Prime Minister later did a one-on-one meeting and delegation level talks with President Kagame. Prime Minister Modi is also expected to interact with the Indian community.
Later, at around 8 p.m., there will be an exchange of agreements followed by dinner, hosted by the Rwandan President and reception, hosted by the High Commissioner for Indian Community.
Prime Minister Modi will then proceed to Uganda, where he will undertake engagements from July 24 to 25. The visit will mark the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in over 20 years.
