Patna Floods: NDRF teams deployed in the city rescue stranded locals

Intense rainfall has been lashing the state of Bihar since past one week, throwing life totally out of gear in the state, with the capital city Patna being the worst affected.
All the civic facilities including the roads, rail , traffic healthcare facilities, schools, even offices and markets have been disturbed in many districts of the state.
A red alert has been issued in 14 districts of Bihar after five persons were reportedly killed in Gaya after heavy rains lashed the town.
In many parts of Patna, JCB machines were deployed to rescue people. Many girls were stranded inside a girls' hostel located in Rajendra Nagar area. They were later recused by SDRF help by deploying a JCB machine.
