According to Kathmandu Post, the incident involved a Surya Airlines plane attempting to take off from Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday morning. Authorities, including police and fire department personnel, are conducting rescue operations at the crash site, which is enveloped in smoke. Witnesses reported screams from passengers as the plane slipped off the runway during takeoff. The aircraft was headed from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and post-crash, a fire broke out, filling the area with thick smoke.
