Will the agitating farmers accept PM Modi's appeal to end protest? | Debate

Farmers have been agitating in Delhi for the last two and a half months against the new agricultural laws of the Central Government. Responding to the address of President Ram Nath Kovind in the Rajya Sabha today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an appeal to the farmers to end their protest.  He said that politics is dominating the farmers' movement. The opposition has suddenly taken a U-turn on this issue. What is the matter?
