West Bengal Elections: Over 1000 Companies of Central Security Forces deployed for peaceful voting

Security measures have been tightened in view of the violence in the previous stages. 14,480 polling stations have been set up in 43 assembly constituencies of the four districts. Over 1 crore voters will decide the fate of 306 candidates. Election is underway for in 9 constituencies each in North Dinajpur and Nadia districts, 17 in North 24 Parganas and 8 in East Burdwan.
