Punjab Elections 2022: CM Channi urges EC to postpone elections for a week

Ahead of Punjab Elections 2022, CM Charanjit Singh Channi urged Election Commission of India to postpone elections for a week in his letter. The reason he mentioned to postpone the election is that most of the scheduled caste people of the state are likely to visit Varanasi on February 16, the birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas.
