View In AppFormer Punjab minister Sunder Shyam Arora has been arrested for allegedly offering a bribe of Rs 1 crore to the Punjab Vigilance Bureau to save him in corruption cases. Former Punjab minister Sunder Shyam Arora was caught by the Vigilance Bureau late at night. The investigation was going on against Arora regarding corruption. Sundar Shyam Arora was a minister in the government of Captain Amarinder Singh. The third former Congress minister has been arrested in six months. Earlier, Sadhu Singh Dharamsot and Bharat Bhushan Ashu, who were ministers in the Captain's government, were arrested.
Earlier, the State Vigilance Bureau had given notice to Arora. After the notice, former Industry Minister and BJP leader Sunder Sham Arora reached the Vigilance Office on Wednesday and was interrogated. The officials asked him questions about making assets disproportionate to his income. He was interrogated for about two hours.
