West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee led a march from Shyam Bazaar to Red Road in Kolkata, on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, 'On the way to Kolkata to mark Parakarm Divas and pay tributes to Netaji Bose'. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday paid a surprise visit to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's ancestral residence at Kolkata's Elgin Road where she criticised the Centre's decision to announce January 23 as 'Parakram Diwas'.
