New TRAI policy beneficial for consumers, says Secretary SK Gupta

While talking to ABP news, TRAI secretary, SK Gupta informed about the changes in the tariff plans for TV viewers. The amendments are effective from March 1. ‘The Network Capacity Fee charges for 225 channels can now be a maximum of Rs 130 plus taxes per month. Earlier, it was Rs 130 plus taxes per month for 100 channels,’ he told. He said that the channels which will be added to bouquet will not exceed Rs 12.
